DIY MONTESSORI COLOR TABLETS BOX 3

Assalamualaikum readers.

In this post mommyica wants to share how to make DIY color tablets box 3.
Color tablets is the part of sensorial area.

The purpose of color box are:
* to refine the child's visual perception of color.
* Awakens a conscious awareness of colors in the environment.
* Gives the possibility of forming mental order.
* To develop visual discrimination
* Concentration
* To develop fine motor co-ordination
* To develop the pincer grip
* To teach the different colour names and enlarge his vocabulary.
* A preparation for future art work.

Color tablets box 3 is consists of 63 colors representing colors in seven graded shades of red, blue, yellow, green, purple, orange, brown, pink and grey.

Now, we can make it at home moms. Check it out!!!

All you needs:
- print out the pattern
- popsicle stick
- scissors or cutter
- glue

How to:
1. Print the pattern. I used art carton, or you can use photo's paper. You can print on hvs paper but I suggest you to laminate to void the color will be fade away.
2. Cut the pattern. Make sure each color has white sides-left-right (to stick with handle).
3. Glue the white sides of tablet
4. Stick the popsicle each
5. Ready to use

How to use?
place all the tablets out on a table and ask each child in turn from a group of children to go and fetch all the colors of one shade. This is quite difficult as the oranges and pinks can be confusing.

If child can not seem to grade the colors, then do the presentation again or assist the child in grading by selecting the next tablet to be place and then allowing the child to place the tablet in place.
